Usage Tips - Fizzing Bath Bomb & Soap Making Kit for Kids

Fizzing Bath Bomb Making

Contents: 1 sachet of colored baking soda, 1 sachet of fizzing salts, 1 sachet of citric acid, 1 pipette, 1 mold.

Required Materials: 1 bowl, 1 spoon, 1 pair of scissors.

Manufacturing Steps:

In a bowl, pour the sachet of colored baking soda, the sachet of citric acid, and the sachet of fizzing salts. Mix well.

Add 8 drops of water and mix again until you achieve a smooth, lump-free mixture.

Fill both halves of the mold to the top, press down firmly, and close the mold.

Allow to dry in the mold for 12 hours. Be patient, the longer you let it dry, the more effervescent the bath bomb will be in your bath.

Cat-Shaped Soap Making

Contents: 1 soap bar of 50 grams and 1 natural latex cat-shaped mold.

Required Materials: 1 bowl, 1 spoon, 1 pair of scissors.

Manufacturing Steps:

Position the mold upside down in a glass.

Cut the soap into pieces and melt it preferably in the microwave or using a double boiler on low heat. Note: The soap should not boil. An adult should perform this step for the child.

Before the soap solidifies, quickly pour it into the mold using a spoon.

Let it cool for 10 minutes, then place it in the refrigerator or freezer for 1 hour.

Gently remove the soap from the mold.

Unfortunately, shipment costs to French overseas department and territories are extremely high. Thus, we can't deliver in these areas.

Directions for use

Cut out the cardboard crosspieces and assemble them

Place the mould upside down in the center of the crosspieces place on a glass.

Cat : The base of the mould sits on the crosspieces.

Rabbit : The feet fit on the crosspieces.

Croco : Feet and tail sit on the crosspieces.

Cut the soap bar and melt it in the microwave

Cut the soap bar into 6 pieces, this will make it easier to melt.

In the microwave, melt it in a bowl for 10 seconds at 850W. Take the bowl out, turn it to mix the contents (without a spoon). Do it 2 more times.

The mixture is now melt.

Quickly spoon the liquefied soap & allow to air cool

Before it solidifies, quickly spoon the liquefied soap into the mould.

Allow to air cool for 10 minutes. Place in the refrigerator or freezer for 1h.

Carefully remove your figure from the mould.

How long can I keep the bath bomb created with the diy kit?

Take your time: they’re good for use for 12 months after creation.
Is it possible to buy the ingredients separately?

You’re not the first to ask this question. We’re working on it…
Can I recycle the soap maker elements?

The soap packets are made of paper and are recyclable. The box, the wedge and the braces are made of cardboard. You must put them in your sorting bin.
The molds are made of natural latex. They should not be heated in an oven. Keep them, we will soon provide refills.
Is it possible to buy the ingredients separately?

The refill system has arrived at nailmatic! You can now buy soap refills.
