Once upon a time, there was nailmatic, the brand of playful spirits
The French brand known for its nail polishes is now catering to the whole family! In a fast-paced daily life, it's essential to find time to (re)connect both young and old through fun activities that encourage sharing, stimulate creativity, and contribute to their development.

The Genesis
Like all great stories, the story of nailmatic begins with a meeting. Boris Gratini, a beauty market expert, and Lilian Monnier, a self-taught jack-of-all-trades, came up with a revolutionary idea.
Determined to shake up the somewhat rigid codes of the Beauty world, they launched the first vending machines for plant-based nail polishes in 2012, hence the name nailmatic (Nail - nails, matic - automatic).
And it was a hit!
From top model Inès de la Fressange to the influential Garance Doré, the concept captivated all of Paris and beyond.
The nailmatic spirit—innovative and playful concepts with respectful formulas—immediately made its mark.
Life is a Playground
Originally known and recognized for its plant-based nail polishes, nailmatic's playground quickly expanded over time, with play and creativity being its driving forces.
The brand created a universe dedicated to children, where laughter, colors, and moments of bonding are celebrated.
The nail polish evolved into a Kids nail polish version with a playful spirit and is accompanied by lip glosses and their sparkling body cousins with safe, water-based formulas.
Imitating grown-ups, yes, but growing up too fast, no thank you!
Even bath time becomes a celebration. Thanks to fizzy bath bombs, crackling bath salts, and foaming wash mousse, joy and carefree moments take over the bathroom.
More recently, the TATTOOPEN, pens that combine tattooing and makeup with a 60% water-based formula that washes off with soapy water, allow artists from ages 3 to 99 to let their imagination run wild!
Creativity, Sharing, Childhood...
A Reason for Being
Stimulating creativity, supporting children's development, and steering them away from consoles and screens with clean and fun products... This has somewhat become nailmatic's reason for being.
From making bath bombs, soap, or nail polish, the brand has developed numerous DIY kits to encourage moments of sharing between young and old.
Going Beyond and Further
At the end of 2023, the brand decided to launch fun, cool, and creative nailmatic podcasts. The goal? To offer audio content designed to create magical moments for the youngest listeners and support parents in their daily lives.
Its first series of 5 episodes, titled Voie Lactic, allows listeners to dive into the playful and entertaining world of the Matic family while exploring essential themes for children, from hygiene to sleep, and dealing with little troubles at school.
At the beginning of this year, managing emotions takes center stage, thanks to Lisha, a little zebra starting kindergarten.
The brand also regularly updates its blog available on its website with DIY articles, tips, inspirations, and coloring pages.

IT’S NOT JUST ABOUT LOOKS
The motto? Less petrochemistry, more magic! Pretty products are great, but when they're thoughtfully designed and made with clean and respectful formulas, it’s even better.
In adult nail polishes, for example, nailmatic has managed to combine coverage, shine, and durability without making any major ideological compromises. The choices are vast and the possibilities endless, all with vegan and plant-based formulas.
Petroleum-derived solvents have been replaced by solvents derived from plants and natural, renewable raw materials (cotton, corn, potato, wheat, and cassava).
nailmatic even adds glitter to life with a plant-based version (including wood cellulose).
The same goes for kids, where the nail polishes are water-based and the lip gloss, colorless and natural, is made from apricot kernel oil (enriched with vitamin E and omega 6 and 9) for extra soft kisses!
A "COCORICO" BRAND
At nailmatic, French manufacturing isn’t just a concept—it’s a fundamental principle. Proud as a peacock to have established strong connections with its French suppliers (60%), the "nailmaTeam" is convinced that it’s essential for confidently advancing in its boldest projects.
The laboratories are located in Seine-et-Marne and Eure-et-Loir. The nail polishes are manufactured in the Yvelines, the packaging in the Oise, and the filling takes place in Morbihan.
With quality being the top priority, if the best partner is found in Europe, nailmatic doesn’t hesitate. Heading to Italy for the cream remover or Tattoopen and to Poland for the Bath range, near the salt mines.
PACKAGED WITH LOVE
Okay, the outside matters too! The packaging is made from FSC-certified paper and cardboard (Forest Stewardship Council) sourced from sustainably managed forests, and the inks used are plant-based.
Recognizable by their beautiful illustrations, they are designed to be colorable or reusable.
The product packaging has been entrusted to a specialized company (EA): Les Primevères. This is a great opportunity for integrating people with disabilities, as it provides them with a job and prospects in a fulfilling environment.
